Partners and Funders

Funders:

  • David R. Clare and Margaret C. Clare Foundation  - UCSF receives funding from the Clare Foundation in order to establish a partnership and conduct research with the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. 
  • Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) - RMHC is funding UCSF's LFF and FCC KAP Projects. Through the funding of this research, RMHC is advancing family-centered care knowledge, practice, and policy and contributing new evidence in the field through a partnership with the UCSF. 

Academic Partners:

  • Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) - Through funding from the David R. Clare and Margaret C. Clare Foundation, UCSF has established a research partnership with CHOP to explore the feasibility of merging hospital-acquired data with RMHC-acquired data to advance research on social determinants of health and the impact of family centered care and support services on clinical outcomes of children and their families.
  • Institute for Patient and Family Centered Care (IPCC) - IPCC is partnering with UCSF to conduct a global survey of hospital leaders’ perceptions of family-centered care practices and policies in their organizations. 
  • University of Pennsylvania - RMHC Philadelphia is partnering with researchers at the University of Pennsylvania and UCSF to learn more about the needs and strengths of families during a child’s hospital treatment and after returning home.
